CHILDHOOD OBESITY

AMDPA launches campaign to fight childhood obesity in the state of Arkansas. The program was launched by a benefit event “Red Shoe Extravaganza”, a shoe fashion that brought awareness to the risks and challenges of childhood obesity. Both Dr. Derek Lewis (President) and Dr Anthony Fletcher (COO) are aggressively working to forge partnerships throughout the state to adequately address the issue. The campaign will have several tenants that will focus on education, eating behaviors, and improvement of physical activity.
